Honest pricing · 45 days free on every paid tier

Five tiers. Real ranges. Zero surprises.

Most ADA "solutions" hide their price behind a sales call. We don’t. Libraries and K-12 schools pay nothing — ever. Small food & beverage (mom-and-pop, coffee shops, bagels, small chains) is $150–$300/mo. Everything else (town halls, hotels, banks, retail, civic) is $725/mo flat. Hospitals, universities, and airports are custom because their deployments genuinely are. **Every paid tier starts with 45 days free.** No contract. Cancel any time.

Every tier (free, $150, $725, custom) gets the same product

The difference between tiers is who pays what. The product itself is identical. A library’s deployment is the same engine, the same languages, the same universal sub-boards, the same QR-scan UX as a hotel’s. We refuse to ship a "lite" version to free-tier customers.

  • QR-scan AAC on the visitor’s own phone
  • 120+ languages, bilateral translation
  • 20 universal sub-boards (emergency · accessibility · crisis)
  • Print-ready poster delivered to your inbox
  • Your own URL: tinkytown.com/<state>/<town>/your-business
  • AI board generation from your business info
  • State ADA Officer validation (CT model)
  • 45-day free trial on every paid tier
  • No contract. Month-to-month. Cancel any time.
Pricing FAQ

The questions buyers ask before they sign up.

Why are libraries and K-12 schools free?

Because the venues that serve the most vulnerable populations — ESL learners at the library, kids with disabilities in school, homeless patrons looking for shelter info, the elderly asking for tax-form help, the deaf parent at IEP — should never be charged to be heard. This is a mission statement, not a marketing tactic. It’s permanent. We pay for it out of paid-tier revenue.

What counts as "Small Food & Beverage" at $150–$300/mo?

Independent restaurants, coffee shops, bagel shops, food trucks, cafés, bakeries, ice-cream spots, and small food chains (small Dunkin’, Subway, local-chain franchisees). The range scales with counter count and foot traffic: $150/mo for a single-counter mom-and-pop with one register; $300/mo for a busier multi-counter cafe or franchisee with drive-through plus counter plus deli. We quote where you land in the range during signup. Multi-state chains (10+ locations) jump to the enterprise tier where economics make more sense.

Why is everything else $725/mo?

One flat rate so buyers know exactly what they’re paying without per-feature surprises. Town halls, hotels, banks, pharmacies, retail, civic counters, chain restaurants — same product, same price. The math: $725/mo = $8,700/yr, which sits comfortably under the FAR $10,000 federal micro-purchase threshold so government customers can buy without competitive bidding or procurement sign-off.

What does "multi-location" mean for the standard tier?

The standard $725/mo covers one entity. A town with one town hall is one entity. A hotel with one property is one entity. A chain with multiple locations adds an entity per location. We don’t cap; we just don’t bundle locations under one fee. If you’re a chain operating 3+ locations, you’ll get better economics by jumping to the enterprise tier where we quote on volume.

Why are hospitals, universities, and airports custom?

Because their deployments genuinely are. A hospital ED has 14+ counters across triage, intake, pharmacy, discharge, billing, and security — each with different LEP populations, different regulatory overlays (Section 1557, HIPAA, EMTALA), and different staff workflows. A university spans residence halls, registrar, health services, financial aid, and 12+ academic-department offices. An airport has gate desks, customs, lost-luggage, and concessions, each operating under ACAA + Title II + Title III simultaneously. We meet your IT, security, and procurement teams and quote what you actually need.

How does the 45-day free trial work?

You sign up. We configure your deployment. You get your QR + URL + printable poster within 24 hours. Day 1 through day 45 = $0. If by day 45 we haven’t changed someone’s life, cancel any time — just tell us why and where. That feedback is the only "term" we ask for. After day 45, regular monthly billing starts at your tier’s rate. You can still cancel any time after that.

How do I cancel?

Email us. We cancel same day. Gladly. No retention specialist phone tree, no automated re-engagement flow, no "we’re sorry to see you go, here’s 50% off" gimmick. We just ask: why are you leaving and where are you going? That answer is how we serve the next family better. Cancel any time, including during the 45-day trial.

Do you offer annual / multi-year discounts?

Not on the standard or mom-and-pop tiers. We bet on the product working month-after-month rather than locking you in upfront. On the enterprise tier we negotiate annual contracts because the deployment scope justifies the commitment on both sides.

What about fulfillment — how do I get the actual sign on my counter?

Three ways: (1) self-print the print-ready PDF we email you (instant, free); (2) ship to me — we ship a laminated counter sign for a one-time $25 fee; (3) local print shop — we email you the PDF + a list of nearby print shops (Office Depot, FedEx Office, Staples, UPS Store, local print shops) within 5 miles of your address. You walk in, pay the shop directly, pick up same-day.

Do you offer refunds outside the trial window?

The 45-day trial period is fully refundable (it’s $0 to begin with). After day 45, payments are non-refundable for the current month, but you can cancel any time and you won’t be charged for the next month. If something specific goes wrong on our end — downtime, broken deployment, a counter that never worked — we’ll refund on a case-by-case basis. Email us, we’ll make it right.

I’m a private school. Am I free?

Probably yes — please ask. Public K-12 schools are unambiguously free. Private K-12 schools doing real disability-services work are also free in spirit; we just want to talk first so we understand the deployment. Universities (public OR private) are enterprise. Pre-schools and daycare: free.

I run a library in a town that already deployed TinkyTown at the town hall. Am I free?

Yes. Libraries are free regardless of whether the town hall in the same building is on a paid tier. The free tier is a per-venue policy, not a per-customer policy.
